Technical Specialist Consultants and Research Associates – Global Health & Pandemic Intelligence

The Center for Global Health and Pandemic Intelligence (CGP) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified Technical Consultants and Research Associates for upcoming global health, One Health, and pandemic preparedness opportunities.
Technical Areas of Interest:
- Epidemic and pandemic Preparedness and Response (EPPR)
- AI-enabled outbreak forecasting and Predictive-realtime outbreak analytics
- Data visualization dashboards and mobile-enabled alert systems
- Early Warning Systems and epidemic signal detection
- Public health emergency decision-making tools
- One Health and Zoonotic Disease Surveillance
- Operationalization of One Health platforms and Antimcrobial Resistance (AMR) Surveillance
- Health Information Systems and digital health solutions
- Health Systems Analytics and Optimization
- Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) and 7-1-7 implementation support
- Event-Based and Community-Based Surveillance (EBS/CBS)
- Multisectoral coordination and rapid response capacity building and deployment (RRTs)
- Emergency Risk Communication and Community Engagement
- Climate and Health outcomes
- Migration Health, Port Health services at Points of Entry
- Climate-sensitive Disease Surveillance and Geospatial analytics
- Simulation exercises, Early/Intra and After Action Reviews (E/I/AAR)
- Gender-sensitive and Equity-focused Risk communication
- Community-led preparedness, Early Warning networks, and training
- Outbreak Risk assessment, Risk modeling, and Scenario Planning
- Monitoring and Evaluation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in public health, epidemiology, statistics, veterinary medicine, health economics, social or medical anthropology, health informatics, business development or a related field. A PhD will be higly desirable but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in technical areas listed above.
- Experience in implementing government-led projects in collaboration with development partners and international donors,
- Familiarity with regional and global health security frameworks
- Strong writing and proposal development skills; previous experience as technical writer/advisor is highly desirable.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in English; French is an asset.
